I love wooden pallets and think that this design is a great example of how you can take something so simple and available and turn it into something extraordinary.
One of my dreams for my little studio apartment (thanks to a picture in an old Readymade Mag) is to get rid of my perfectly good bed frame and put my mattress on some pallets. The look feels somewhat Japanese to me and it would make moving a snap, since you can disassemble it in minutes. Of course this means I still have to figure out how to get rid of the giant bed frame I have now.
