“Diving Hammer” by The Breeders. I fucking love The Breeders. Last Splash was the first album I owned and to this day it is still one of my favorites. You want to know the very first piece of music I ever bought? “Slam” by Onyx. Not the whole album, just the single “Slam.” Remember that shizz? “Slam, duh duh duh, duh duh duh - Let the boys be boys!” I would listen to it over and over in my room and rap in front of the mirror. I was just a b-boy standin in my b-boy stance. Thankfully my older brother heard it, took pity and gave me The Breeders album “Last Splash.” Unfortunately I lost it a few years back. Gee I really wish I could listen to the whole album right now. Oh well I doubt there’s anyway that could happen.
