I did a show in a bar where the countertop was decorated with hundreds of quarters. I think this would be very difficult to explain to poor people the world over. “You wish you had more money? Are you tiling your bathroom? Ohhh you’re using it to buy food. Yeah I use money to decorate stuff. No I don’t buy decorations, I just put money on things. Walls, counters, anything really. I would give you a quarter but I’m saving it for this little DIY bar counter project. You should come see it sometime… oh right, the money thing.”
