Oof, really?

My apartment is great but it’s super hot in the summer. I’ve bought special heat resistant curtains, always cleaned my AC filter, bought fans, never used lights during the day… I even had my landlord move my ceiling fan to the center of my room. It was in the corner for some unknown reason. An even bigger unknown reason also escapes me on why the AC unit is on the floor. Nothing helped, it was still hot.

Today I found out from my super that I can turn off the pilot light in gas heater. Apparently that thing has been emanating heat for the past few years.

I really wish I knew that in July.
