I went to see “An Evening Without Monty Python” last night in Hollywood. It was a night of Monty Python sketches directed by Eric Idle and performed by famous people who aren’t Monty Python. The cast included Jane Leeves (she plays Daphne in Frasier) and Alan Tudyk (the guy who played “Steve the Pirate” in Dodgeball) and some other really funny people. It’s amazing to see how well some of the sketches held up given that this was a 40th anniversary celebration show. They did the sketch above last night. It killed.
